Emilie Mazzacurati is Managing Director at Four Twenty Seven, a climate consulting firm. She has ten years of experience working on climate policy, carbon markets and sustainability. Emilie has published extensively on California climate policy and carbon markets, federal climate legislation, and the interaction of carbon with other commodity markets. Previously, she was Head of Carbon Analysis at Thomson Reuters Point Carbon for five years, where she directed Point Carbon’s research department in the U.S. Emilie currently teaches on carbon markets and climate risks at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and Santa Clara University School of Business. She is a frequent speaker at industry events, and has trained hundreds of professionals on carbon trading in private workshops over the years. Emilie holds a Master of Political Science from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and a Master of Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley.
