Amy Zimpfer is Associate Air Division Director, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9 in San Francisco, California where she implements all aspects of the Clean Air Act in California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands and is the senior management lead for Clean Energy and Climate Change. In 2008, Ms. Zimpfer served as Embassy Science Fellow at the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal focusing on climate change and renewable energy. Ms. Zimpfer has filled a wide variety of managerial and engineering positions at USEPA. She has also been Director of the San Francisco Estuary Partnership, a San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commissioner, and worked for the State of California, Department of Health Services, State of Colorado, Town of Breckenridge and City of Littleton, Colorado. Ms. Zimpfer is a registered Professional Civil Engineer.
